I see mr waggott having another whinge at Dover's residents for not supporting the western docks project, a veiled threat of not going ahead with the project, but showing himself up again for not actually listening to the community. He talks about the opposition to the development with regard the planning application but clearly has failed to note the majority of people are only opposed to the pier closure not the redevelopment of the western docks, but in his mind that means they don't want any redevelopment.
He also blames the lack of community directors on objectors to the new harbour revision order but won't explain who or what they are. This is the new era of openness and community involvement, seems much like the old one to me.
his comments re. the community fund are hilarious saying not wanting to Chuck money at organisations because of p***ing it DOWN the wall! is it not up the wall?
In simple terms Tim we support the western docks revival but would really like to keep our pier, if we can't can we have a guarantee that we will get a new one, please.
