When I went past the Kiosk on Thursday, it was open and a visitor (?) was making inquiries.

I'm sure Richard must be concentrating on his own business now as he has been hacked off by so many people when trying to help develop tourism here.

I know he had painted some Napoleonic-period soldiers on the facing wall of the Grand Shaft without permission - but it IS a Napoleonic-period structure and it did create interest and awareness of the Shaft.

It would be very good if people could rely on the cafe (at the end of the pier) being open every day, they would certainly get much more business.
