  Still very warm out there but every time I go to sit in the sun it does a runner, a shame those silly figures can't do the same.

  After early showers it's now a glorious day on the seafront for the first Port of Dover Community Regatta. Here we have Olympic torchbearer, Jamie Clark with Cllr Sue NIcholas officially opening Dover's new portrait bench. Why not come along and take a seat to watch all the activities on and off the water!

  Great turn out for the official unveiling of the portrait bench and a great reminder of the Olympic torch relay. It rained that day too but that didn't put people off! Loads of things going on down on the seafront today so make sure you pop along and support. The weather is lovely.
