  Brian - that is not what I am referring to. Remember the debate in the 2005 GE and the rationale provided, the ring fenced proceeds to improve the transport infrastructure to the Port (dualling A2 for instance) and then the 'road pricing' of Port traffic to produce an ongoing premium to the local economy. The latter is something that cannot be done with he present trust status.
  
  We may have lost the election and these proposals are now dropped all together but that does not stop me from still believing that this would have been good for Dover.
