An anti-British hate-group, the "Muslims against crusades", has been banned as of midnight tonight.
The announcement came from the Home Secretary Theresa May.
The group, which burns poppies and brandishes hostile slogans, had planned an Armistice Day demonstration, promising a "Hell for Heroes" campaign.
The group's leader has now said the hate-campaign will not go ahead, citing expected clashes with BNP as a reason.
Theresa May was wise to ban the hate-group, as things may well have got out of hand.

I agree Alexander; I'm pleased to hear they are banned - they should be deported to a Muslim Country where they can live without hate; why live here when they hate us so much - I expect (as has been published before) they are all on benefits ? Mad atren't we ?
If they are all gainfully employed and not on benefits, then I'll apologise for this slur on their nasty character.

actually they are all british citizens roger born and bred here, we cannot deport them anywhere.
seen some interviewed, possibly one brain between the whole lot of them, just chip on the shoulder types.
a lot of prominent muslims are up in arms at their behaviour and have publicly stated that the police and justice system should crack down more heavily on them.
I would not have a problem with finding a nice Muslim country to which to send them, British or not, frankly. I know it isn't practical, but if they hate it here so much why don't they just **** off? Many Muslims are genuinely insulted by their behaviour- it isn't about religion, it's about eejits who want to make a fuss.

Now if we would only ban the idiots in the EDL and other fringe racist groups too

Many who know me will be surprised when i say they should not be banned. My reason is that servicemen and women died to preserve free speech we might not like what they say but they must be allowed to say it. And if they get battered for burning poppies thats all to the good. Banning them gives them more publicity.

If the various media (newspapers, TV and radio etc.) do not give them the oxygen of publicity, they will fade away and die - it's becuase they are given coverage they continue with their hate campaigns.
Why do we have to house and pay benefits to people who despise us so much ? Shouldn't the majority of the peaceful and gentle Muslims do something to stop them as they are twisting the teachings of Mohammed the Prophet.

I tend to agree guzzler and these fanatics will only reappear with a different title spouting their rubbish

having watched the media both nationally and localy they thrive on these type of stories sadly.
fpor some reason the negative stories sell far more papers.
to a degree i do understand guzzler views, but ignoring them can become a problem to.

They would (hopefully) not be ignored by the security lot but closely watched, having said that the most dangerous fanatics blend in and do not make themselves known.

from exprience jan believe me fanatics are watched every step they take.
my view is whist ignoring such publiciy, this publicity does go on by the national/local media, so whilst we may choose to ignore the media wont so they wil continue to get the publicity they crave

they were banned under a previous name no doubt they will dream up another title and open a new website.
roger mentions the issue of other muslims not doing anything about them but last time the fanatics had a demonstration they were outnumbered by other muslims denouncing them.

I regard these people with the utmost contempt and disgust, they revolt me. But - I agree with Guzzler, we should not ban them. Appalled as I am about what they say and do, in a free democracy they should have the right to do and say what they do. DT1 - they are of the same kind of racist scum as the EDL and the BNP, the same applies.

In an attempt to moderate the thread a little, I would note that both BNP and the poppy-burners are decisively against British soldiers being in Afghanistan.
BNP, however, puts the emphasis on the Establishment that sends young soldiers to a war that BNP believe is not our war, as they do not see why our soldiers should be sacrificed there, whereas the Muslims against crusades consider the soldiers as being in the wrong no less than those who send them there.
One big difference is that the Muslims against crusades believe in a Muslim world-society where there can be no individual states, no borders between countries and no religion (faith) other than the Muslim religion.
They are not racist as such, but do not recognise the British State and claim that British Law is not binding for them.
This, in effect, makes them anti-British.
They do not believe in democracy either.

Most of the members of Muslims Against Crusades were formally in the now proscribed Islam4UK and will almost certainly turn up as something else in time for next year. Not only do I agree with the comments made by Guzzler but I would also add that the banning just makes it harder for the security services to keep track of them as now they will have to be on the look out for new groups springing up.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Now that the group has been banned and classified as criminal, and IF it was so wrong to do so, why don't they go and seek political asylum in another country?

very few are, the problem is that the majority are too slow to condemn the head cases in their midst until recently.
their culture generally is non confrontational which has made things worse allowing some of their young to get brain washed.
