Must refer you to ``DDC no change at the top`` # 107.
Having `stepped out of line`by voting against my Party`s policy I gained some enemies ( life long ).
These enemies did their utmost to ruin my political life so I challenged one of them for the leadership of the local Party.
In political terms life became ugly but I beat them resoundingly 18 to 9.
They continued their activities throughout my leadership trying to stop every change I made.
When they became County Councillors with me it continued and unfortunately, for me,one became the leader and one
became the `chief whip`.Political life was difficult and ultimately when their ward was chosen by Labour HQ to be a `Women
only candidate` ward they attempted to change it from their ward to Bill Newman and Keith Sansum`s ward.
Keith and Bill were/are highly respected and they failed, so they choose my ward, where I was the only Councillor.
They succeeded which ended my political life at County.
This is a reason why the majority of politicians do not `step out of line`and `keep their noses clean`and `fall in line`.
All women candidate lists are wrong and the Labour Party has/will suffer for this policy. Many labour leaning voters will not
vote for this Lady through no fault of hers.
The good news for all the ``controlled`` politicians there is life after a political life and its good.
Here endeth the lesson.
