    Funny coming from Sandwich as I do and knowing Peter Rees as I did,no one I know knew of Charlie until he turned up as Candidate in Thanet which he did not get,of Course Sandwich is in the Thanet Parlimentary area,then he just happened to reside in Deal after he got the Dover job.

    What is strange is I used to see him going 'Home' on the train every time he appeared in Dover and sold him his tickets at times and it wasnt to Sandwich,it was to London.

    By the way most of my family still live in Sandwich! As a Cllr we now get messages from residence saying the MP told us to contact you,and one of them was about the CSA.

    I know Charlie well,we often shared a ciggie at the Station, and as a bloke he is ok,as an MP ........lots to learn......
