  Sandwich Howard and he actually lived fairly near to where Peter Rees used to live when Peter was our MP. His local connections are more than just where he lived of course. Working in London of course he has/had a place there too and the fact that he already had somewhere saved the taxpayer some dosh.
  
  The important point is that he was not 'parachuted in' which suggests he was forced on the local Party in some way, he was not, he was chosen by locals from a list that included well known locals. As I say I supported one such local at the time, not Charlie, but now I would say he was an excellent choice.
