we've all heard of the dynamic duo here we have the traumatic trio.
from left to right town councillor and leader of the opposition group stewart dimmock, parish and district councillor pauline beresford and lastly district and county councillor nigel collor.
the leaflets were somewhat less than complimentary about the reds.

Yes I bumped into them and had a bit of a row with Charlie, who swore at me and they all left.In fact I wanted to tell him that I actually agree with the non gay marriage thing although my Daughter who is gay wants to get 'married'

Stewart had a go but I found it strange that he pointed out that I am a Cllr for Tower Hamlets Ward and live in St Rads as I believe he is a Cllr for Castle ward and lives in Town and Pier?

I am tempted to tell you all to "Get a room."
There's not a lot of information leaking out...and that may please you. Let's hope not.

Sorry John that my fellow Cons. weren't happy to chat - seems silly to get bitchy.
I didn't get asked, but I couldn't have helped them anyway.

Strange, JHG- I was at a meeting yesterday afternoon at which Charlie and Gordon Cowan were also present, and all was sweetness and light. Was it something you said perhaps?

This thread sums up the tribal nature of politics and why local govt is a waste of time, its all bickering and finger pointing instead of getting on with things, both sides are as bad.
Recently, a local councillor addressed our MP as Charlie and was promptly chastised by the parliamentary labour candidate.
Its pathetic, I really wish we had more independents at every level.

Everyone knows him as Charlie, he wouldn't have it any other way. Still it's refreshing to see a Labour member off-message.

i think that many of the independents would jump ship if offered a winnable seat under a party label, we have already seen one do so.
