The post you are reporting:
Not all the victims were European. About twenty of the crew were 'Lascars' from the Indian sub-continent. Their coffins, draped in Union Jacks, were placed in transport wagons supplied by the local military garrisons and transported from the Market Hall headed by the band of the East Surreys to St Mary's Cemetary where they were buried in the non-conformist section. The bearers were from the local regiments and the parade was followed by the Dover Anti-Aircraft Corps. The group were buried with full Muslim funerary rites into one large grave dug by the Royal Garrison Artillery with the heads placed to the east.
(Ooops - just notice the full version of the above is on the website).
