They both are great characters but very different, Benn the thinker and intellectual, and Skinner the vocal cloth cap union man. British politics would be poorer without them.

not so sure john the tabloids would have made his life a misery.

Howard - a great thinker in Labour terms does not say much for him!!!!..
I have often listened and been entertained by his rhetoric but rhetoric is all it was, as shallow as a bath in World War 2.
