Yes Howard, I went up to the Elmsvale Rec to talk to the parents about that play area and also about one in the Priory area.
There were a good few mums and dads and children there all giving their view as to what is needed.
Generally the people were happy with the equipment (at Elmsvale) but those with small children would like to have some toddler stuff and as there is room for some, they may well get them.
I have been pushing for repairs to the tarmac and concrete between the play equipment - the actual equipment is O.K. and so is the safety matting, it's the areas between that cause the kids a problem.
I am trying for a play area in the Priory part of the ward, but there are serious obstacles to overcome.
