  Barry, please give Alex credit for going out and finding out. It's a lot to learn, especially through unstructured internet research, and we all jumped to inaccurate conclusions occasionally when we were learning the basics, even on-the-job or in a classroom setting with proper textbooks.
  
  But beware, Alex! there are a lot of sites out there which purport to offer good information but actually peddle party dogma dressed up as highbrow economic theory. Not just left wing dogma, either.
