  I think the main problem is the lack of police officers, when the then new local commander brought in officers in numbers to deal with the day time drinking problem they must have come from somewhere else. All towns and cities have this problem and officers get shunted around leaving where they come from susceptible to anti social behaviour. Top police are saying that with more cuts envisaged officers will only be reactive rather than proactive.
