  Ignoring inconsiderate parkers and people that have a garage but use it as a storage space, the bigger picture is that there are too many cars for our small island and as the population is forecast to continue to rise the problem can only get worse. We could have more social public transport ie funded by public money to get shift workers back and forth at unearthly hours but the fact is many people still prefer to use their cars arguing that as they pay road fund licence and insurance it would grate on them to pay bus fares on top.
