Grip noted!! And I agree that traffic pollution is a real issue - children living close to major roads have a proven higher risk of respiratory conditions, as you say, and that matters a lot. The difference for me is that we can choose to smoke or not, and many smokers refuse to recognise that it can be really offensive and dangerous. Most of us cannot choose not to drive - I wish we could. I would love to be able to choose not to do a 190 mile round trip daily for my job. But sadly, we have to travel to work, so it is different.
Good stress relievers:
punching pillows
drinking quietly and responsibly from time to time
cooking - yes, cooking!
moaning to someone who won't mind (thank you, to my Old Man!)
meditating
sport - even watching......horse racing and rugby are my chosen stress relievers!
napping - I love a power nap! I have been known to pull over into a service station for a 5 minute nap on one of those regrettable journeys I have to make.
