The doctor has Paracetamol by the box load on my repeat prescription but I find it is useless for the awful pain I can get in my ankle but it does for the family headaches so I still get it.
I have even been naughty and tried more at one time than prescribed but they were still useless so I now put up with the pain.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I think I'll just follow doctor's orders and keep taking the tablets and not fret about the effects. I'm on both co-codomol and Ibuprofen at the moment. I was prescribed Diclofenac a couple of years ago and it put me in hospital with kidney failure!

well the ibuprofen is not only a painkiller but a NSAD (non steroidal anti-inflamatory drug) the co-codamol is codeine and paracetamol combined. there is no current evidence to indicate any adverse interactions between these analgesics.
