With the days getting ever closer to the festive season there has been no mention yet of a forum DO.
Are we having one?
It seems so long since the last one.
Come on Guv, give us a blast.

Yes indeed we will be doing a few things. We were talking about it yesterday. ColetteB of the 'pins' fame on the other thread is looking at it as we speak. Jeez december comes creeping up quicker than you expect.
Here is a picture from one of our parties from the old days...the pic probably goes back as far as the Boar War..lol!!! ah just kidding. But who can name all the forumites in there.

The picture resembles a congregation of The Beano and The Bunty. With 'Sir' from the bash street kids third from the right.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Yes you got all the names there Peter. All those guys with the exception of Paul Turvey are still members. Not sure what became of him. Well spotted Roger re BarryW's head. Nigel Collor in mid group there is still starring today on our frontpage.

Paul moved to Harwich (Dovercourt actually). We still see him about twice a year.

Ah! yes Ian, I'm working on it
Thats a blast from the past, that photo taken at Blakes must be quite a few years ago now but a happy bunch of forumites as always and we haven't changed a bit, still as young as we feel
Talking of Blakes, its Beaujolais Day this coming Thursday and Blakes will have the new Beaujolais specially delivered from France. This Sunday they have their Super Sunday Brunch from 10.30 onwards. How about all us forumites meeting up there for a jolly, we will be there from 12.30 and I know quite a few forumites who are already going.
Lets give it a French theme and dress the part, I can imagine there will be one or two onion sellers and 'Allo, 'Allo! lookalikes, 'Listen very carefully, I will say this only once.'

Having been on the phone to suppliers this morning, I have managed to source some decent Beaujolais Nouveau so all systems should be GO. Limited supply though, when it's gone it's gone.
