  LOTTERY FUNDED
  
  
  Dover Community Radio is more than a little pleased to announce that it has been awarded funding by The BIG Lottery Fund.
  
  These funds will now allow the Community Radio station to grow its programming and widen its services to the Dover District Community.
  
  To do this we obviously need MORE volunteers, more presenters, more technicians, more reporters.
  
  Whether experienced, novice, curious or just mildly interested come and help us celebrate, and find out more about how to get involved, at our First Birthday Party, to be held in Pencester Gardens, Dover between 2 and 4pm Sunday August 12th.
  
  M'Larki will be playing LIVE on The Pavilion, with a set that covers favourite songs from the past 50 years and the DCR Roadshow will also be appearing.

  Yes PaulB that is great news, they are a good bunch and will do lots of good for our communities.
  If you have anything going on, "tell them" they want to be part of the community and need input and help from us.

  It should be a good show in pencester on the 12th Gary.
  
  
  Good weekend that also the Community Safety day on the seafront on the 11th.
  Should have more info on that shortly on frontpage just waiting for another item..

  internet i believe peter, noted that there was no evidence of dover community radio involvement this afternoon.
