17:2277844 What a glorious start to November, with blue sky and warm sunshine. This was Kearsney Abbey this afternoon, and plenty of Autumn colour. Very pleasant in town to, and a nice natter with Howard and Jeanette. Also spotted Guzzler heading to the sea front. Anybody got temperature reading`s for today?

17:2777850Thank you Jenni, and while you`re there, I`ve seen you half dozen times in passing your colourful shop, but each time you have a few customer`s in, but will get to say hello at some point.

17:3177853Colin its always busy in there at the moment, but you can always knock on the window and wave!!
Just thinking about changing the window again ready for the Poppy Appeal, ,hence wanting to get a box for the shop...
I do like to keep you all on your toes and looking in the window, and of course seasonal!

18:3777879A beautiful day; spent some time in the garden tidying up and doing some sweeping up leaves and some last minute painting. Unusual for November to be so pleasant - hope it continues.

23:5378730I walked from Whitfield to Priory station for the first train this morning. Short sleeve shirt, and Summer jacket. A little cooler up in London I thought, but nevertheless, very pleasant, and makes you wonder, what`s in store for the rest of the year?

00:0578731Shame it tipped it down during the day up in town, I was in Islington most of the day and got soaked pretty much every time we stepped outside.
As for the winter, if the folk myths are to be believed,it looks like it will be another hard one given the amount of berries on the holly, rowan and yew trees around Dover

18:1079147 Somewhat different this week to last. Bitter cold wind this morning, heavy rain and the tide almost in. Did anyone else venture down there today? One week from the picture`s above, the facination with the British weather.

I know it's for sailing but since we live by the coast etc. etc.
It works for me!

15:4580275 The weather scene from yesterday and today. A very sharp overnight frost, but a bonus of a blue sky, sunshine and white clouds. Scene from Langdon Cliffs yesterday, and from the Western Heights today.

15:5280280I was coming home from Essex last week - the day we all got caught in the tailbacks at Dartford - and the sky was amazing! I really thought it looked like a great mauve monster with a face looming over us, billowing out to capture everyone. Perhaps that was too much information............

15:5880287 Thank you Bern and Howard, just one more of the many I took this morning. Such a beautiful crisp day, making life so much more pleasant. Just think with the old style photography where this shot would come out over exposed! Amateur`s like me simply couldn`t take picture`s properly facing the brightness never mind directly at the sun. How quickly technology has moved on.
