I totaly disagree howard. I get far more detailed news on the internet from a much wider range of sources. As always it depends on where you look. If you look at the internet versions of the tabloids then you would be right but the on-line versions of The Times, The Telegraph and the Guardian, anong others, do provide news and articles in as great a depth as the paper versions.
I use a 'portal' that provides headlines and links to all the on-line news media. As I am interested mainly in the political stories I use
