i thought you were referring to the shop next to the chippy that has been derelict for many years, people were working in there yesterday.
hopefully someone will know what is planned for there.

Wouldn't they be better off using the Tram Shelter?

Richard Branson started his career by taking over a public phone box. Perhaps we will all be crossing the Atlantic in 'Folkestone Road Airlines' before we know it.

I hear you are getting a chemist along Folkestone Road, near the Dr surgery
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

That will be handy then the local junkies. They can get their methadone from there instead of having to get it from Boots!

The chemist or pharmacy, is going next to the chip shop, years ago it used to be a chemist,(Tunniclifes it was then).
the other open shop, was reported for trading on a public highway, they said it was like a garage sale, if so it should have been on the property and not on the main drag

Sorry Keith, you seem to be confusing the two (chemist and surgery) - a surgery is not a chemist; the surgery is a replacement building for Doctor Premnath's practice, the chemist can/will be used by anyone.

looks like both will be opening at around the same time, will be of great benefit to folkestone road area residents plus the bonus of a derelict shop derelict no more.
