18:4374094Here's a surprise that was spotted earlier...notice of a license application for a members only club at the vacant Brown's estate agents in the Market Square! The application has been made by 'The Friends' & I'm sure that is not to be confused with the 'La Friends' the pizza parlour!!
Now, whereas I believe we have enough pubs/silly clubs in that area already, I'm really hopeful that this is going to be a 'grown up's' club because we are seriously lacking in those!...somehow I dont think upstairs will be taking the same view though!!
I'm going to pat myself on the back now for spotting this before eagle eyed Howard & Colin!!
I know a million ways to always pick the wrong thing to say

19:0074097Luckily for you Jeanette, I`ve been out of circulation since Sunday, otherwise I might have. My back went Sunday night, unable to get out for a couple of days. Okay today though. Back to the thread though, and what exactly does a grown up club have to offer, apart from no noisy, immature youngster`s?

19:2274116If it's anything like those in Poland, Colin, quite a bit more than a game of dominoes.

19:2274281If it is a lap dancing club or similar it can bank on opposition.

08:3674332it would be a pretty small club! Especially by the time the toilets are installed and a cellar. ...... Looks like a cafe with 12 to 2 sales!! A little indefinite if they mean 2am! Probably a joke.

11:5174344i don't see any need there for a night club, the one in adrian street should be sufficient.
besides there are plenty of pubs open very late on friday and saturday nights.

posh barry is confused on this subject, when he sees the word fox the red mist descends, he and camilla/colette get the blood lust the beagles are released and all hell breaks loose.
other than that they are nice people.
