Yes I know it is hard to believe as I look too young, but my eldest Daughter Rachel gave birth this morning at 08.30 by an emergency C section. No other info yet.

If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
Congratulations and some, JHG!!!!! Great news!

Congratulations JHG. There is nothing like being a grandparent. You can give them back at the end of the day! And the best feeling of all? When your kids come to you complaining about their offspring doing exactly what they did. The biter bit indeed.

Asleep on the job John

Congratulations.
You had me worried. I thought the posting referred to a re-working of the Clive Dunn classic....

I know John, was only joshing. The train service is probably one of the only businesses to have benefited from this catastrophe. Glad to hear everything is well with your daughter and grandson.

Congratulations, granddad!
Very glad to hear all is well. Welcome to the world, little Joshua, and I hope Rachel will soon be up and about.
I suspect John's first words on hearing the news were "Just the ticket".
