    Some of those television programmes on food are enough to make your eyes water. They really dont encourage dining out. This new initiative from DDC could help restore confidence as after all.. we are truly fed a daily diet of horrors on TV..excuse the pun!

    You need something to restore the balance and I for one am happy to see this.

    One guy from an Indian restaurant on TV recently had a big drum of ermmm..creme fraiche I think it was. They use it in curry. He had ignored the fact the it had to be used within three days of opening ( the stuff was nigh on a month old if I remember correctly ) saying that Indian cooking requires such high temperatures anyway so it didnt matter...
