we have all watched this development come to fruition a very attractive block of flats.
what i cannot work out are these add ons either side, look like 2 very big houses that might look better in connaught park.

Yes Brian, they are very handy for the shops. Rightly so being designed for the elderly, pity there isn't a nearby undertaker!

I like the modern design of the flats myself, more pleasing to the eye than the old Royal Mail sorting office and Social Club that used to be on the same site.

Who came up with that name? - I just see the word 'doofus'!
If you Google it there is one wikipedia reference in a language that I dont recognize but appears to be 'Dover' in that language - unless I have got it totally wrong! Any ideas?
