The link worked fine for me and what a good idea to have this nautical theme.

Anyone with an interest in wacky roundabouts absolutely MUST visit Jeddah.

Great idea! Can I suggest the last reminder of the SRN4 hovercraft - the propeller still stands in the old hoverport. Not sure who actually owns it nowadays, presumably DHB.

i hope the propeller will eventually be moved to a location on the seafront where it can be viewed by all, it is an important part of the town's history.

It would be viewed by many more on one of the major roundabouts, the top of Jubilee Way springs to mind

At Coquelles there is still an old tunnel boring machine on a roundabout. Perhaps we could fit the Berlioz on one of ours.

It's a nice idea, but my dad put it there any it is likely to disintegrate if they try move it after being stuck there for about 20 years !

Chris Precious was discussing this on here about a year ago, about the idea of anchors etc that DHB had somewhere

All this talk of anchors, I hope no wag has spare 'W's to add to the exhibits.

Great idea, I love it.
I was warned not to consider putting the Miners Statue on a roundabout(not that I wanted to) bit strange though

How's about a really mad idea..... why not clear the roundabouts like that Whitfield and Duke of York of the jungles that have teken over so people can actually get a clearer view of traffic , they are there for getting me safely to work not for sight seeing !!!!
