We were called in to see the Co on the afternoon of that day, he told us what he had told them,he went on to say that for the next two days we had to stay in camp and help out if needed,there was a few M/POLICE with us.We were all given pick handles of wood ,told we could use them if the need be but aim for the legs or arms not the face etc.
The N.S LADS went out on the town we was told they were shouting in the pubs but that isall they done,it was a about 0230hrs in the morning when they all came back in they passed the gate with nothing happen, but then they run to wards the rooms of the new lads the doors were looked but they still got in by the time we got there they were all fighting chairs etc being used in the fighting lots of blood on the walls etc,we then went in under orders to stop it .this we done ,useing our pick axe handles after some time order had returned and all the N,S MEN WERE ALL locked up till the morning .
At 0800hrs saw us matching them out to the CO office with some MPS to help us.
Well they were all matched in to his office about four at at a time, the Co then told them all "well I told you what would happen if you got into a fight,so that is now going to happen .
