  Claire Ive just had a look at the internals of your post, all seems fine...but there is no picture there.
  
  There are only two potential problems...the picture is very large and didnt upload, or you deleted the code from the upload box after uploading. Otherwise it all works fine...as you can see from the other guys pictures, all works fine.
  
  When you get a minute..in between all dem marathons lol!..pop it over to me exactly as it is and I will upload it for you. Send it exactly as is so I can see if it was too large.

  Aaah thanks Paul, yes it was probably too large, I just checked, 2.2mb. I will email it to you since you offered as its fiddly to re-size on my computer.
  
  Love the picture of the seafront on the home page. I was running along there at 8.30am this morning. All these long runs seem to have had a positive impact on my short runs as I did my fastest EVER 5k (3.1miles), in 29.33. Not very fast really but very fast for ME!
  
  Got Lydd half marathon tomorrow will update with my result tomorrow. Thanks Helen, if the weather is like it is today it will be perfect.

  Yes was too large. Always best to resize them, I resized this one to 600 pixels wide and bobs yer uncle...up it pops. Thanks re picture on frontpage. The figures looked Lowry like against the blindingly bright concrete so I went for it. Good luck with your half marathon tomorrow.

  Well!! I did myself and my marathon sponsors well and truly proud.
  
  My Garmin results (my GPS stopwatch) were that I completed it in 2:14:56, average pace 10.15min/mile, calories 1475. The gun time (when the race started to when I crossed the finish line) was 2.15.36.
  
  I'm just waiting on my chip time - we wear an electronic timing chip that starts our own clock when we cross the start line - very helpful if you're a way back in the queue when the gun goes off, like I was. There were about 600 or so of us i think. All in all I'm very pleased with myself as I knocked approx 13 minutes off my half marathon personal best (PB) time.

  They had an official photographer at the race from www.sussexphotography.com and I don't often buy photos of me running as they are not usually very flattering - red faced and dishevelled, but I decided to purchase these two.

  OK, on to my next fundraising event.....
  
  To help me reach my London Marathon fundraising target for the Stroke Association, my dad, a very experienced walk leader, is organising a river bridges walk around Canterbury on 14th April. (Note added 15th March - please scroll down for new provisional date) It is an enchanting and historic route. We aim to cross 36 bridges without crossing the same one twice. I find it hard to believe there are so many bridges so will be counting them as we go!
  
  The distance is about 5 miles and is a flat walk at a leisurely pace. We will stop frequently to admire places and buildings of interest. The walk will last two and a half to three hours.
  
  Tickets are £5 per person. This walk is good value for money and raises money for a great cause at the same time. If you were to do a Canterbury walking tour with a Canterbury tourist guide you would pay £6 for only 90 minutes.

  Well tonight I did something VERY challenging. So challenging I had to ask 'im indoors' to do it for me. Marathons I can do, no problem. But ironing the letters on my running vest - hmmm Rick has done a great job! (I wasn't wearing it at the time)
