Well done to the chap who apprehended the felon and held him until the police arrived.

This makes me so angry - it happens so much these days, not only in Dover but all over

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I think we are lucky that we seem to get so few in Dover, I do hope the gentleman has plenty of family and friends to help him through the shock.

I have just read it was a well known local "smack head", I hope he gets put away for a long time but I doubt it.

I suspect that he was remanded in custody for his own protection

This FILTH should be locked up for life.He has caused much misery to many in this town. Two very good friends of mine are serving long sentences because of him.

The name has been nagging at me since his arrest, I am now thinking Farthingloe, missing jewellery and two scaffolders.
Am I right?

If the press reports are correct, your friends are no better than Sart.

Well done to the members of the public who stopped him getting away but with the soft laws we have it will not be long before he is out again.

I must admit to shock when I read of it at the time, met Jim Miller twice, erecting scaffolding then dismantling it later. He came across to me as a pleasant, mild mannered sort and my builder neighbour at the time of the trial said that he was well respected for his work ethic.
Sart on the other hand etc etc.

18 month sentence with remission bringing it down to 9 months, he has already served 4 months so not long before we get the low life back on the streets.

Couldn't agree more, our sentencing is beyond a joke and definitely a case of the punishment does not fit the crime.

You can't keep a good criminal down, this time Sart provides us with a laugh.

The court also providing us with a laugh with this P**s take of a sentence.Anyone that knows Sart well will know that it wont change him,I,m sure he will carry on regardless once he gets out, doubt he will serve the full sentence.Just yet another example of scum being pampered by the law.
