DHB are very secretive and nobody can make any public pronouncements without being vetted first. Their website gives nothing away and I thought there were two "community directors" going from memory.

So secretive that they mention Mr Wiggins and his fellow Community Director in the Annual Report and Accounts. Their term of office runs from 1 May 2016 to 30 April 2019.

Try the Port and community forum set up to keep us all informed. No mention of who makes up the group, no agendas and no minutes. If you know who any of them are try getting them to make a public utterance of their own.

ha ha, very funny all.
Yes Brian, I am currently doing some work with the Panama Canal Authority in Panama from whence I will return at the end of next week.
Mr Vic, contractually it is 2 or 3 days a month as a Non-Exec with the DHB, I do a bit more than that. I am not gone and am still deeply involved with a number of community organisations and projects as well.
Samantha is the Non-Exec who attends and takes part in the Port Community Forum, whilst I take part in the Port User Group Forum.
I have even less time for the keyboard than previously except from time to time to retweet or FB share local events or news.
Both I and members of my family still shop and spend a considerable amount of our leisure time in Town.

It was never 2 days a week, it was always a minimum commitment of 2 or 3 days a month Mr Vic. I have always given more than the minimum time commitment.

Vic, you ought to open a shop in Dover selling wooden spoons. Then everyone could have a jolly good stir, you could even run stirring classes.

Thank you sir from that but Mr Wiggins and myself have had talks like this for some years, but I do not agree with a lot he is saying. I have the prove that the D.H.B. said it was two days a week with pay, what it is now I do not know.

Why do you want the job and all the aggravation that goes with it?

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Well, he says it's two or three days a month and never was 2 days a week. He's in the job so I'm more inclined to believe him unless you can provide the evidence you say you have?
