    Ah now this is a familiar hotel to yours truly. The Hotel Westminster. One has often luxuriated there, taking in the genteel but rather well to do elegance. As they say above, built in 1924 when the British Empire still ruled the roost..ermm kind of..and all the pretty young flappers writers and artists of old Blighty used to congregate there in fine style, nipping across the channel at will in the aeronautic wonders of the new age. Im sure I saw Hercule there on my last trip.

    I dont mind, it must be said, an occasional sojourn on the terrace there sipping the oul pink gin and watching the well off ladies strolling by in their Parisian finery.

    I have a picture of its splendour...will search for it.
