Taken a few minutes ago. Four police vehicles, a paramedic car and two emergency ambulances.

Ambulances now gone but a fifth police car and both ends of Dolphin passage taped off with crime scene tape.

I hope no-one innocent has been hurt or worse. If a drug dealer has come to grief there will be flags and bunting along Castle St.

A near neighbour has this afternoon informed us that a group of four men with baseball bats broke into the Old Brewery flats to 'sort out' a few alleged drug dealers. Whether this is true or not I don't know but perhaps Kent Police might like to stop keeping us all in the dark.

thankfully the police were ever so kind and didnt object to a very grumpy me trudging down the passage to my car... before they put the tape up i must addd....
if it was one of the enterprising members of society who had a problem... never mind...

Also high siren police activity down on the seafront too Howard. Woke the quiet gloom so it did. Police vans, lights all ablazing, came in rapid response and from different directions and arrested a chap in light coloured clothing along the seafront about 15 mins ago. You can just make it out there through the gloomy day in the pic. Didnt see what he did...but they came very fast and got their man. I dont know where they come from they know how to swoop double quick, the coverage seems very well organised.
I have several Police stories pending also.

it does seem like a planned swoop, the drinkers were being ignored.
incidentally when i went past the incident i recognised the chap being frisked, decided not wave at him though.
