That's true Howard - an indivuidual can't do anything to follow this up of course, but a "body" could.
Let's hope one is formed soon.

what is dover pride here for roger?
we are all cheesed off with looking at properties where the inmates care not a jot.
you said on here a day or two ago that the time is now, no more excuses, the european visitors are now coming.
not many chances left to leave an impression.

ok roger
nice that they have a vision.
what have they actually done so far?
what actualities do they have planned?
sorry to be pessimistic, just sounds to me like another talking shop.

There was also the much vaunted Street Scene initiative recently...but as Howards suggests it is beginning to look like these groups mean well but appear limited in what they actually achieve. No evidence of any difference being made is visible. And on top of that with the continued non appearance of the DTIZ...its all a bit disappointing.

Like everything worthwhile Paul, it takes time and everything big, takes longer.
As I'm not in the know on this, I believe unncessary time is being wasted - Nigel may give an update on this.
If or when the Support Body is started, Street-scene could be run by such a body. We all know what's wrong with our Town Cemtre Streets and those where we live, it's just a matter of co-ordinating it and actually getting it done.
