Its lovely to see The Just Reproach on our front page this morning and even lovelier to have been there the other day and meet Mark again. Congratulations to Mark, its a real friendly place and in a great position too, just a skip and a hop from Deal Seafront.
Thank you Mark for the lovely welcome, I did enjoy that cider and it was as far removed from an old floorcloth as can be

The wine was delicious too. Whilst I don't do ale I must say I noticed it was going down a treat with the friendly clientele. Must also mention that cheese I got from you, very moreish indeed, it was the Kentish Ancient Ashmore one
We will pop over there again soon and bring a crowd with us, it will save you some monies hiring those body doubles

good front page pictures, looks like mark is doing well there.
these pubs do seem to be the future and leave us with a choice other than pub chains.

#79 Mark,
John has told me how he rates the brew & atmosphere.
You can probably work it out now.

Just been over for a couple of pints and a piece of the pub's 1st birthday cake - both lovely and congratulations!
Mark told me that at least three micropubs have been set up around the country as a result of visits to The Just Reproach, something to be proud of for him and the great crowd who get in there - if you haven't tried it yet then you must.

Well done Mark. I seem to remember Martin used to have a sign saying 'There is no F in Lager'.

Phew!
Well done you Mark.
I thought for a minute this was about Microbe pubs, then I remembered, that was in Essex.

Peter, Martyn at The Butcher's Arms is the origin and the Gold Standard of micropubs. NFL, and most of the other aspects of what we offer, is down to him. The movement against standardised products continues unabated!!

Yes Mark, I've known Martin since the day he opened The Beer Shop in Canterbury, where the noodle bar now is, in Northgate. 1984/85, if I remember rightly.

Hope I have time to stop for a pint next time I pop in.

I love the expresion no F in Lager.
I will always remember Charlie in the White Horse. A tourist asked for a pint of Heiniken. Charlie replied that he didn't have any. Give me the next best thing, the tourist replied. Charlie gave him a pint of water.
