Ian, have you asked if they are still on the premises. I know we kept loads of stuff in our pub and when we left it went down to the museum so you might be lucky. Very annoying to say the least if you cannot trace it.

Maybe asking the new landlords if they have an idea if they were left there - things do get laid down and forgotten about, it was some years ago, but can't remember how many.
