    Tom, Paul and I basically agree on what work needs doing on Western Heights, and that it needs funding. It is now necessary that funding comes through.
    There are no excuses!
    Not to secure funding would mean letting the Scheduled Ancient Monument decay.
    I have brought the Scheduled Ancient Monument up in the funding for regeneration process for Dover, and so there can be no excuses.

    I don't know if DPPT or DHB did, but I have.
    To turn all this down would be a sad day for Dover. We need proper and adequate funding for regeneration, and as there are no excuses to turn all this down, I'm not budging one inch till it comes through.
