    Yes saw this on TV earlier. Great shame. Although there have been loads of reports about shelling and casualties..the TV always up til now carried the proviso that the deaths/shelling could not be confirmed as there were no journalists there.

    The appalling situation can most certainly be confirmed as of now...because here we have it confirmed in concrete with the loss of a familiar name who risked all to bring us this very fact, and confirmed it with the loss of her own life.

    I would hope the Americans could do something. There has been a stepping up of rhetoric coming from Washington despite being hamstrung at UN level.
