13:2586343I spoke to an old workmate who still works at Hammonds, its seems they are not too worried about the coming changes, the camaroon contract will keep them going. Good news for them.

14:0286962Thanks for the concern about my sternthruster!
Have just rejoined my ship on wednesday for another fortnight and am sorry to report that my sternthruster is still very poorly and looking forward to some attention at refit later this month.

18:1388600Its good to see the boats still sailing in for Hammonds. Looks like a crisis has been avoided.

19:3488619Of course, the public don't get to see the prices, but I wonder what influence this has on the decision where these ships go? My understanding is that some of this trade has gone to Portsmouth where the port is owned by the local authority. Could they be charging rates that are uneconomical just to get the business?

21:2988631As always Ed, lovely picture`s mate. I bought Ships monthly today with one of my WHS gift card pressies. Don`t usually as magazines are too expensive these days. Be having a good read tonight.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
