MAREK;
I can normally agree with your viewpoint, but have to take issue with your last posting me old chum lol.
I'm not for one minute saying the mc canns were right for leaving kids alone
and in an unknown area.
What i am saying is this facility to contact your prime minister is open to all, the mc canns have done so.
the difficulty for mr cameron will be if hundreds of others follow suit, what decision will he make then?
I certainly don't do co opt outs leave that to others.
just going through your points one at a time;
1; cameron may well be making a rod for his own back, but if it were your missing child i'm sure you would use every poss avenue to find them
2;no idea about the slush fund, cant answer that
3;im sure scotland yard and the portugeze police authorities will want to work closely together it's in no ones interest not to
4;as per 3
5;the mc canns should have been questioned i quite agree
6;agree with 6
7;don';t disagree with you on that
8;im sure you are correct marek
so there you have it marek

Keef
The PM has bowed to media pressure and as you say made a rod for his own back which will come back to smack him in the face.
The Pork and Cheese police have already taken umbridge at the PM's and UK police interference
Finally thanks for your fuller answer.
Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

yet another foot in the mouth moment by dave, construed as interfering in police matters.
I agree with many of the posts , the parents were to blame , on holiday or not , you are a parent 24 7 , but you carnt blame them for not giving up . As for the Portugese police , they dont fill me with any confidence at all .
I hate to put a whopper of a different angle here but a few things , What about that boy that got stolen ben was his name i believe never found, also my friend went to bulgaria two yrs ago and because her daughter has bright blonde hair the locals kept trying to get her away for her mum even to the point of pulling at the little girls arms as she walked along the streets , my friend reported it and vowed never to return but this my be another case of in a split second your life turns into a living nightmare as a parent as the poor mccanns are living, also the police in this case seem a bit to relaxed and why didnt the persons who saw the man roaming around days earlier stand by thier guns and flag him up to police ?

ben needham was the name, it was on a greek island, many alleged sightings of him since.
that is true that some people from countries where very few have fair hair, that they get fixated by blonde haired, blue eyed children.
Yeap just like my friends daughter but why is what i would like to know?
