Some of the Elysium Park homes are hideous. They replicate the early 70s architecture that nobody wants now. The setting is very nice and they are pleasant inside, but the appearance from outside is not good. We seriously considered one but were worried it wouldn't hold its value because of the front elevation. Also we want to be near the sea. Interestingly the same developer has some very nicely designed houses (very expensive) available in Folkestone.
Progress at Whitfield sorry but a lot of us do not see it that way,I have the plans and drawings as a parish cllr and do not agree it is progress.I am in my last few weeks as a cllr at Whitfield ,I hope the the new cllrs will think in the same way.
How many of those homes are there to entice those who need a minimum of three or four large bedrooms?
How many of those will suit an extended family?
I suspect most of them are the modern equivalent of the old fashioned two up two down or flats.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
