I have supported Dover since I was taken up there aged about 5 or 6 (60 years) and will continue to support them, but sadly some can only support the good times. The thing is a lot of the Jolly Boys are not old enough to remember Dover FC when it all but folded and think being 6th in the league and maybe not making the play offs as total failure. They also think paying £12 to get in gives them the divine right to slag off who ever they like, individual players, the Manager, the Directors and the Chairman while in turn the Chairman and Directors who put in Thousands should just sit back and take it and say nothing.

As I said in an earlier post I find it hard to smile after loosing three home games so badly, when I see players who can play good football fail to put in a shift but at the same time I will not turn on the club. J. P. may like every one else have some failings but he is a dam good Chairman who like his Directors have saved the club from going under a fact many forget.
