    I feel more concerned for the club than I have in a long time. We are haemmorhaging support and the fear is that the key guy - chairman Jim Parmenter who bankrolls the club - will get fed up with the fickle, demanding mentality of some of our supporters and let the club find its natural level (a much lower one). Then we will be yearning for the misery of sixth in Conference South.

    Having said that, the only people who can directly turn it around are the manager who recruits and selects players and chooses tactics, and of course the 11 out on the pitch. Until they get it together - or are shipped out and replaced by better and more committed players in the summer - the mood will continue to be downcast.
