Lizards
- 8 August 2011 18:04119275I love these little chaps - it's like Jurassic Park in miniature. These were all at Cowgate cemetary yesterday afternoon, most of these were newly hatched babies.

Just push the gate open if it is closed, people walk their dogs around it all day long. Not seen adder for a few years in there sadly, but I suppose that's good news for dog walkers.

Thanks Jeane. Lovely little things - their patterning is so detailed. It's surprising how much variation one gets, some babies were very dark, others medium brown and some have more pronounced spots and markings. - 8 August 2011 21:31119376this was from the independent photos of the week, wish i could take pics like this or the ones from phil.
there is something about reptiles that captivates me, someone i knew had a salamander that used to sit on the lap of anyone that entered the house and responded to being stroked.
i always that being cold blooded would preclude that.

Not seen her or her babies for three years now, hope they are still around somewhere.
