HAVE YOUR SAY AT NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUMS

Local residents are invited to come along and have their say at the latest round of Neighbourhood Forum meetings being held at Dover Town on Thursday 1 October, and Deal and Walmer on Tuesday 6 October.

Dover Town Neighbourhood Forum is being held on Thursday 1 October at Dover Town Council Offices from 6.30pm. The meeting will be discussing The Sea Change Project and Regeneration. There is a range of exciting projects that continues to move forward for Dover and this is a chance for residents to come along and find out more. Speakers include: Nadeem Aziz, Dover District Council Chief Executive; Amanda Lumley, Kent County Council Regeneration and Project Manager; and Sarah Lang, Programme Officer from the Dover Pride Regeneration Partnership.

Deal and Walmer Neighbourhood Forum is being held on Tuesday 6 October at Deal Town Council Offices from 6.30pm. The meeting will be discussing Have Your Say On Flooding and Drainage. Come along and find out what the various agencies are doing and what you can do to protect yourself and your home. Speakers include representatives from DDC, the Environment Agency and Southern Water.

Doors for both meetings open at 6pm, with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet your local County, District, and Town and Parish Councillors, and other Forum members. There will be opportunities for questions throughout the course of both meetings. Residents will also have an opportunity to talk to a representative from the Dover District Community Safety Partnership. All suggestions are welcomed from local people about what they would like to discuss at future meetings.
