Yes indeed in an amazing own goal Labour have produced a poster that makes David Cameron look cool. A Conservative official said that he wished they had thought about it....
Labour are portraying DC sat on an Audi Quattro dressed as the much admired character Gene Hunt from life on mars and Ashes to Ashes......
here it is:::
Here is a Conservative version featuring Brown:

Both parties need to grow up and start tackling the real issues that matter, rather than squandering cash on silly adverts.
Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

Its all part of the fun Marek and can be used to get accross a message. I am sure that DC is very grateful to Labour.

So po-faced Brian. No harm in mixing fun and politics, it helps make the world go around. I am sure that you would have said differently if the boot was on the other foot.

The original Life on Mars was brilliant Howard Ashes to Ashes good but not quite as good as Mars.

i remember you mentioning "life on mars" barry.
the main point of my post was that nowadays there are so many channels, and people actually spend less time watching TV, that the poster campaign was pointless.
when we had just the 4 channels, one would go into work, someone would say did you see "only fools and horses" last night, the whole office would respond, nowadays we all diverge into different specialist things.
i still think the "lord snooty" thing would be more effective, childish but would strike a chord with the public.

BARRYW
Your hardly the non political avarage person looking in deciding who to vote for
these posters are already switching people off, big mistake if we believe in wanting to improve voter turn out

Dover will stay red
with vic picking up votes from all parties reducing the majority and surprizing everyone.
charlie sees tory vote slip and gwyn's majority increase by 50
combination og other small parties votes enough to keep charlie from taking the seat.
Tories blame the public for not knowing whats best for them
(I recall these words after tories lost last time)
AND one tory said
the public would vote for a monkey in labour seats thats how silly public are.
terrible comments
but im sure we will hear them all again
