Labour Big Names snubbed by Royal Wedding.

The country's leading Prime Minister in recent times who was a true man of the people, for a while at least, has not been invited to the Royal Wedding. I speak of Tony Blair, who won three elections in a row for Labour and was populism itself. He was Prime Minister to a whole growing up generation who didnt know anything else.
Likewise Gordon Brown. Not quite so popular but nevertheless a Prime Minister of this country until very recently, and he too has seen his invite 'mislaid in the post'. Whats going on??
We have various dodgy dogsbody rulers from around the globe coming, some with highly unsavoury human rights records, some even have several wives and all at the same time by jove, there is even a lowly hairdresser I believe from New Zealand, but no room for our own Prime Ministers. Doesnt that strike you as odd.
Is this the class system at work? We have the traditional ruling classes, the Conservatives, previous Prime Ministers and all, all there in attendance...but cloth capped belt and braces Labourites are shunned. Some arbitrary rubbish like they are non Garter something or other, is being quoted as a reason.
I suppose faced with the indignity of putting faggots and mash with gravy on the menu for the Labour guys must have been the reason. Young Kate couldnt live with that humiliation!

And don't see how you can call either of them cloth capped belt and braces Labourites with their priviliged upbringings and record of doing in traditional Labour in favour of the new lite brand.

Hordes of sickly sweet females like Sophie Raworth and Fiona Bruce all smiling drearily droolily.. keep coming on our TV screens at every break, telling us about the approaching "do" and that we must watch it with them. There is going to be the prologue from the mall, from beside the mall, from the church..then the actual events in minute detail..and the dress...oooh the excitement of the dress. meanwhile around the country every Mr and Mrs Bloggs will be holding street parties.
But at the event itself, as the cameras whirl over and around the guests, Conservatives en masse, and dodgy foreign dictators who like nothing more than blasting away at their disgruntled demonstrating citizens among them..there wont be a Labour PM in sight.
Well its an outrage. Think of all the extra coverage the Conservatives will be getting and with an election coming too. I shall have to consult Sue Nicholas on the rules of Purdah!
News has reached me the the Labour group had even offered to forego the faggots mash and gravy and had offered to try the roast pheasant even though they havent as yet acquired a taste for roast pheasant ooop in Barnsley and Doncaster. One Labourite was livid... telling me that they had even offered to leave their whippets and ferrets at home..well you cant say fairer than that. Its an outrage so it is.

Apparently Brits wishing to escape the razzmatazz of the RM are fleeing to the US only to find the live TV coverage and hysteria over there exceeds dear old Blighty.
Funnily enough although visitors numbers are up, the London hotels are still only running at 70% capacity. Mind you it could be something to do with the hike in room prices. The Mayfair Hotel manager was interviewed who claimed his $230,000 a night price tag was a bargain as it contained a piece of jewellery chosen by the guest.
