    The object of the post is to highlight the standards set by Buckingham Palace in paying wages for manual work: 100% minimum wage in this case. And this in London where the minimum wage is usually increased by a one or two pounds an hour owing to the cost of housing/rent.

    It certainly doesn't constitute an example to employers to give hard-working people a more generous wage than the minimum, even if they have the financial means to do so.
