Judging by the appended comments i.e. "He must mean north Kent." The people of Kent can take their share of ribbing.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Anyone who takes what Jeremy Klaaxon says seriously is as cuckoo as he is.

@Jan
Typical Clarkson: the kind of auto-pilot, yawn inducing populist received opinion spouted by countless bigots. Some may think it humourous, but it has no wit or originallity, that's for sure.
The problem is that it sinks into the nation's subconscious and soon no-one will be able to say they are from Kent without cringing and attracting a sneer, as it is added to the list of Places To Be Disrespected.
He may well be best ignored - but is he more dangerous than you think, adroitly peddling an agenda within the trojan horse of over-the-top buffoonery?

the bandwagon is in full flow with our local politico mr bob beano joining in, looking suitably earnest when interviewed on local news earlier.

It could certainly become stigmatised, I fear. Just as Dover was and still is, as the rest of the UK smugly projects its disowned racism.

What does 'disowned racism' mean, Andrew?

Yes I switched on my TV last night and the first image I saw was Ben Bano Mayor of Deal. He was on as I swithed on so didnt have a chance to get a camera, so well done with that shot there Howard, a good one, it took me a few seconds to twig that dear ol Ben was right there in front of me. I was wondering what the fuss was all about as i had heard nothing..and then..oh nooo not Clarkson again!

Thanks Sue..what an error, and I was only photographing Mayor Jim Cronk a short while ago. One year is drifting into another oh so fast.

Gosh when will that man learn to keep his mouth shut, every time he opens it he sticks his size tens in, perhaps someone should follow him round with some very wide tape.

Are you refering to Ben Bano ?
