Mr Hayes well known going under the name of Speedy was a true Dover man. Well known taxi driver,and he also was a great help to myself when we had a Dover boxing club he would come to all the shows home and away taking the lads with him. both his boys were in the Dover club.one of them turned out to be very good even boxed for England as a Jr.
He was a great supporter of Dover ,he worked for years at old park Bks.then as a cab driver.Had long black hair.
Once you stopped to talk to him .you could never get away.
He was a single Dad looking after two boys and done a very good job of it .He was always out with them ,when not working.
He will be much missed by us and his family.
